YLEK’s History
C. Thomas Young (1943-2002) started the predecessor firm of Young, Lind, Endres & Kraft with two (2) other attorneys in 1968 after his graduation from the University of Louisville School of Law. The firm was first known as McDaniel, Young & McDaniel. Until his untimely death in May, 2002, Tom was very active in business formations and banking law. At his death Tom was Chairman of the Board of a local financial institution.
Eugene F. Lind (1942-2001) graduated from the University of Louisville School of Law in 1969 and joined the firm thereafter. The name that followed was Young, McDaniel, Forrest and Lind. Gene was considered by many attorneys as the authority on issues of real estate titles–an area of the law that continued to challenge him until his sudden death in January, 2001.
Lewis A. Endres (1949-1992) graduated from the University of Louisville School of Law. He joined the firm in 1974 at which time it became known as Young, McDaniel, Lind & Endres. Lewie served as City Attorney and other positions during several mayoral administrations and was very active in the community.
